Principal's Message

Dear Gator Scholars and Families,

Welcome to Golden Hill School for Creative and Performing Arts, where every child is encouraged to discover their talents, embrace their creativity, and embark on their own unique journey through The Art of Becoming. We truly believe that Every Child Is a Masterpiece!

For more than 75 years, Golden Hill has been a cherished part of the Fullerton community. While we take great pride in our history, we are equally excited about the future. Our school stands at the intersection of tradition and innovation, combining strong academic instruction with meaningful arts experiences that inspire students to think critically, collaborate effectively, communicate confidently, and create boldly.

At Golden Hill, we believe that education is about more than academic achievement alone. It is about helping students discover who they are and who they can become. Through arts integration, students engage in learning experiences that connect creativity with rigorous academic content. Whether they are solving mathematical problems, conducting scientific investigations, creating visual art, performing music, participating in theatre experiences, or leading their peers through Student Government, our students are encouraged to explore, imagine, and grow.

Our commitment to the arts is reflected throughout our campus. Every student receives formal music instruction from TK through 6th grade. Every student participates in hands-on visual arts experiences through our dedicated Clay Lab. Students have opportunities to engage in leadership, robotics, speech and debate, eSports, conservatories, performances, and numerous other enrichment opportunities that help them develop confidence and discover new passions.

Golden Hill is also proud to be a school where every child belongs. Through our Protege Program, students with moderate to severe autism are fully integrated into the life of our campus, enriching our community through their talents, perspectives, and individuality. We believe that our diversity is one of our greatest strengths and that every student deserves to feel known, valued, and supported.

Our success would not be possible without the extraordinary partnership we share with our families. Through Team Golden Hill, our PTA and Golden Hill Education Foundation work together to support student learning, strengthen our school community, and provide experiences that extend far beyond the classroom. Their dedication and generosity help make Golden Hill a truly special place for children and families.

As we look ahead, we remain committed to continuous improvement. Through a focus on Great First Instruction, arts integration, literacy, mathematics, and innovative partnerships such as our work with the UCI School of Education, we are continually striving to provide the very best educational experience for our students.
